A small setup, explained clearly

Three steps to your first video.

SmoothTube uses YouTube’s official API. You create the access in your own Google account; the credentials are stored in Windows Credential Locker on your PC.

Get the current Windows 11 build from Microsoft Store.

Create YouTube API access
Follow the plain-language guide in your Google Cloud account.

Paste, sign in if wanted, watch
Google sign-in is optional and only needed for account features.

Why does it need setup? SmoothTube is independent and does not route your Google account through a Northwind Lab server.
