SmoothTube 2.9.9 is a focused player-shortcut reliability update.
Reliable fullscreen shortcuts
- Pressing F on the video page now enters fullscreen without hiding YouTube's player controls.
- Fullscreen works without first clicking inside the embedded player.
- Esc continues to exit fullscreen normally.
Reliable playback shortcuts
- Space now pauses and resumes playback whether focus starts inside or outside the player.
- Space no longer also activates focused Back or sidebar controls.
Availability
SmoothTube 2.9.9 is distributed through the Microsoft Store. If the update is not visible yet, Microsoft may still be processing, certifying, or gradually rolling out the submission.
